Do the fabric functions wash out?
No. Alginic acid is compounded into the polymer at masterbatch level, so functions are material-level — verified to hold after 150+ industrial washes.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
500 kg per color per composition. Blended seaweed fabrics (with cotton, modal or polyester) offer more flexibility for small trial orders.
Is there a dyeing limitation?
Pure seaweed fiber is dope-dyed — color is added during spinning, so post-dyeing is not used. Blends can be dyed with conventional methods.
What is the lead time?
15–20 days when yarn is in stock, around 45 days for custom spun yarn. Free A4 samples ship by courier for immediate evaluation.
Can composition, GSM and width be customized?
Yes. GSM from 140–260, widths up to 185 cm, and composition ratios can be tuned for hand-feel, drape, stretch and performance targets.
